These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rentals section of PortugalProperty.com. By viewing, enquiring about, or proceeding with a booking for any rental property listed on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Third-Party Provider – Tripwix Vacation Rentals, SA

All vacation rental properties featured in the Rentals section are exclusively offered, managed, and contracted by:

PortugalProperty.com is not a rental agency, property manager, or contractual party to the rental transaction. We act solely as a referral and marketing platform, connecting prospective guests with Tripwix Vacation Rentals, SA.

We do not hold, control, or distribute any funds or deposits associated with rental bookings.

2. No Agency Relationship and Full Disclaimer of Liability

PortugalProperty.com acts in an introducer capacity only and is not an agent, intermediary, broker, or partner of Tripwix Vacation Rentals SA or any property owner.

All rental agreements are entered into directly between you (the guest) and Tripwix Vacation Rentals SA. As such, PortugalProperty.com:

Does not negotiate, confirm, or administer bookings
Is not responsible for the accuracy of listing information, pricing, availability, or property descriptions
Accepts no liability for any cancellations, errors, omissions, overbookings, or inaccuracies
Has no responsibility for the condition, legal licensing, cleanliness, or safety of the properties
Is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, dissatisfaction, or other issues related to your stay

Any complaints, requests for refunds, or disputes arising from your rental must be directed exclusively to Tripwix Vacation Rentals SA, under their terms and dispute resolution procedures.

3. Booking Process and Third-Party Terms

When you express interest in a rental property through PortugalProperty.com, you may either:

Be redirected to the official Tripwix website, or
Be contacted directly by a representative of Tripwix Vacation Rentals SA

From that point forward, Tripwix assumes full responsibility for the rental inquiry, booking process, confirmation, payment, and customer support.

By proceeding with any booking, you agree to be bound by Tripwix's own Terms and Conditions, Booking Policies, and Privacy Policy, which may be found on www.tripwix.com. PortugalProperty.com makes no warranties, express or implied, about Tripwix's performance or policies.

We strongly recommend that you review all third-party terms prior to making a booking.

4. Data Processing and GDPR Compliance

a) Primary Purpose – Rental Introduction

By submitting an enquiry via PortugalProperty.com's Rentals section, you consent to the sharing of your personal information (name, email, telephone number, rental preferences) with Tripwix Vacation Rentals SA for the sole purpose of managing your rental enquiry and potential booking.

PortugalProperty.com will not access, store, or process any sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary to initiate this introduction.

b) Secondary Purpose – Related Services

In accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and based on our legitimate business interest, we may retain your enquiry data to offer relevant services connected to your property search, including:
