Set on 8 hectares of land with over 4,000 maturing pine trees, around 300 cork trees and many other native trees (olive, carob, fig, etc.), this Quinta has a lot of potential. The pine trees were planted over 20 years ago with funding from the EU. The trees are already producing pine nuts, which can be sold/distributed on the local market.

The Quinta is currently set up as a ceramic workshop, with one half of the property dedicated to the production and storage of various artworks. 

The other half of the property consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge. The lounge opens up onto a south-facing, covered terrace and there is a second terrace next to the main entrance on the west side of the house. 

The property does not have a pool, however, there is plenty of space in front of the house to have one installed. An eco-friendly, natural pool would be the obvious choice to remain in harmony with the surroundings.

The Quinta is not hooked up to the national grid and depends on solar and wind power. In case of any outage, there is a gas generator (set apart from the house), which can be used as a backup. Water comes from a private borehole (150m deep), which produces about 6000 L/H. Whilst not suitable for drinking, it is perfectly suitable for all other houesehold requirements. 

The property is about 1.5km off the main road, along a well-maintained, dirt road. Whilst there are no immediate neighbours, there are a good number of houses in the near vicinity. 

This property would be perfect for anyone looking for a quiet location within easy access of Tavira and all its amenities.
