Enjoy an International Chocolate Festival

Perhaps one of the most delightful events to attend in Obidos is the annual International Chocolate Festival featuring amazing treats: http://www.festivalchocolate.cm-obidos.pt/

The face of Óbidos changes to a delightful presentation of baked goods and confections along the medieval streets. Crowds gather to buy and sample the cakes and goodies.

Children will enjoy the opportunity to play games at the “Kids’ Chocolate House” and prepare recipes designed to give kids their own chocolate treats.

It is amazing to view statuesque chocolate designs and other events featuring chocolate, such as the International Competition of Chocolate Recipes where pastry chefs compete by creating their best chocolate design trying to win the Chocolatier of the Year award, and short chocolate culinary courses for adults.
